How do I replace or close my OKX Card? 

If you want to discontinue your card, you have two primary self-service options:

  • Close Card — permanently deactivates your card with no replacement.

  • Replace Card — closes your current card and requests for a new one with a different card number.

If you believe your card was used fraudulently, you should go through the Dispute flow instead, which may result in a card reissue after investigation.

Can I replace a compromised card?

If your OKX account or OKX Card is not locked/blocked, card replacement is supported. To do so, go to the Card homepage > select Manage Card > select Replace Card. 

Replacement is limited to 2 times a month.

Can I close my card?

If your OKX account or OKX Card is not locked/blocked, and there's no pending transactions, card closure is supported. To do so, go to Card homepage > select Manage card → select Support - Close Card.

What happens to my Reserved Balance when my card closes?

Existing reserved stablecoins remain collateral for unpaid Card obligations until the corresponding repayment or settlement requirements are satisfied.

Can I reapply for a card after closing?

A new application is subject to Card eligibility and risk checks. If a card is closed due to delinquency, reapplication is not supported.
